What Is in This Collection

Woven Silk or Silk Jersey

Not everything here is the same construction, and the difference changes how a piece wears.

• Woven mulberry silk: The majority of the range, mostly 16 momme. Light, cool and the closest to pure silk against the skin.
• Silk jersey: Mulberry silk knitted with spandex — typically 35% silk to 65% spandex. It stretches and recovers, so it behaves more like everyday knit underwear.

Silk or Cotton

They do different jobs. Cotton absorbs moisture and holds it; silk moves it along and dries faster, and its fibre surface creates less friction. Cotton is the more forgiving fabric in the wash — silk asks for cool water and a gentle detergent in exchange for how it wears. Silk underwear vs cotton underwear sets out the comparison.

Sizing and Returns

Every product page carries its own measurement chart in centimetres and inches. Take your hip measurement and match it to that chart rather than assuming your usual size carries over — a thong and a hipster are cut differently. Bras pair a band with a cup range, written as S (70C/75B); a few styles use Asian sizing, which runs one to two sizes smaller than US, and those pages say so.

Underwear and bras are excluded from the 365-day return and exchange policy for hygiene reasons, along with final-sale and clearance items. If something arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, email services@silksilky.com with your order number and photos before sending anything back.

Care

Hand wash below 35°C with a mild silk detergent, press and swirl, never rub or wring. Rinse cool, press the water out in a towel and dry flat in the shade. Wash lace styles in a mesh bag so the trim does not catch. Keep silk away from bleach, enzyme detergents, the tumble dryer and direct heat.
